John Ulrick, 66, Republican from Hillman, MN announcing his Campaign for Minnesota House on January 1, 2022. He is currently a Delegate for Morrison County and State Central. He holds the Deputy Chair position for the newly formed GOP Native American affiliate Group, and previously held the Chair position for the Central Minnesota Concerned Citizens.

John has been a resident of Morrison County since 1976. He is retired from the US Army as a Chief Warrant Officer (CW4) on 30 October 2015, serving for more than 32 years, completed four overseas combat deployments. He still holds his Commission with the Army.

He and his wife, Linda, raised a blended family of 10 and operate a 280-acre farm located in Lakin Township, in Morrison County. John also owns a small plastic-injection molding company that has made the move into research and development of new products.

John holds a degree from Anoka-Hennepin Technical College, completed two years at St. Cloud State University and completed an aviation program at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He has been attending the University of South Dakota (online) for the past three years, majoring in political science, and criminal justice. John continues to do independent studies on subjects from farming, livestock care, taxes, state regulations and other issues of Minnesota.

John states he is a no-nonsense conservative who supports and defends the Constitution. He states his supports for change, doing what is necessary for the good of the people. Issues high on his list of priorities are Oversite, Healthcare, Department of Human Services, Child Protective Services, Education Reform, Refugee Resettlement, Sanctuary Cities, Minnesota Revenue Tax Code, Defunding outdated and unnecessary programs, Veteran Issues, 2nd Amendment, Term Limits, Voter ID, and Native American Issues. John looks forward to working on all issues that concern the citizens of our district and Great State.
